Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Brenian ("we", "us") about your use of the Brenian service at brenian.com. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them; they are short on purpose.
1. The service
Brenian provides a personal software agent that runs in an isolated workspace assigned to your account. It can browse the web, run code, and create files on your instructions. It is software: it can be wrong, and you are responsible for reviewing what it produces before you rely on it or share it.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old, give us a working email address, and keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with your account and keys. Tell us at once at hello@brenian.com if you think someone else has access.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use Brenian to break the law, to attack, probe or overload systems you do not own or have permission to test, to harass or defraud anyone, to generate or spread malware, or to infringe others' rights. We may suspend or close an account that does. Your agent runs inside a sandbox with limits on time, memory, network and spend; attempting to escape or disable those limits is a breach of these terms.
4. Credits and payment
Brenian is prepaid. You buy packs of credits; each turn your agent runs is charged what it cost us to run it, times our published markup. One credit is one cent of that price. Credits do not expire and are not refundable except where the law requires it. Prices, packs and the markup are shown in the app before you buy and may change; a change never applies to credits you already hold. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
5. Your content
What you say to your agent and what it makes for you is yours. We claim no rights in it. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store it in your workspace, to send your prompts to the models that answer them, and to show it back to you.
6. Published sites
Brenian can publish the results of your agent's work as a web page at an address under brenian.app. Sites are private to you until you share them; sharing produces a link that works for anyone who has it, and you may separately choose to make a site public. You are responsible for what your sites contain and for whom you share them with. A public site must not contain anything you would not be allowed to publish yourself: no personal data about others without their consent, no material that infringes copyright or trademark, nothing unlawful, misleading, or designed to deceive visitors. Every public site carries a way to report it to us; we may take a site down while we look into a report, and we will remove one that breaks these terms. Sites live on a domain separate from the Brenian app so that nothing on a site can act as the app. Site addresses, storage and re-runs are subject to the limits shown in the app; unused sites may be archived after long inactivity with notice.
7. Shared learnings
After a session, we may extract lessons about which tools and methods worked, and share those lessons with every user's agent. Such a lesson never includes your messages, files, results, or anything about you, and only reaches other users after independent confirmation or human review. You can opt out in Settings → Privacy. The privacy policy describes exactly what is kept.
8. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from Settings; this deletes your workspace, sessions, files and keys, and forfeits any unused credits. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, with notice where we reasonably can.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Brenian is provided as is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, or that the agent's output will be accurate. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profit or business arising from your use of the service, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Brenian after that means you accept the change.
